TALENTED TEENS:

Emil is back!

Emil

He made music history when he did the first Flash Mob video for his last hit song, “You Must Have Made Somebody Happy.” Now the teen singing sensation has released another smash, “With My Eyes Closed.” IMN caught with Emil for a quick interview. Check him out.

Q: "With My Eyes Closed" is your current release. Does this song have special meaning to you? Why did you choose it?

A: “With My Eyes Closed” is a song my vocal coach Judy Rodman wrote and introduced to me. I really liked the concept because people can imagine being with someone but just do not know how to go about talking to that special someone.

Q: The video for "With My Eyes Closed" is in our video spotlight. Tell us about the concept.

A: The concept for the video is that I am watching a girl I am interested in being treated badly by her boyfriend. II write her a story and save her from her misery in an imaginary way.

Q: You are even more popular than the last time we interviewed you. How has this changed your life at school and with your friends?

A: My life at school is still the same and I keep my music separate from my social life.

Q: As a high school student, what is the best part about school for you?

A: My social life is the best part of school for me. Math is my worst subject and I would rather hang out with friends than take an algebra test.

Q: Being a recording artist with a hit record on the charts, what's the best part of the business for you?

A: The best part of my music career for me is still getting into the recording studio. Although someday I would like to perform live at huge concert event and share my music with the world

Q: How to you keep school and show business separate but equal?

A: So far keeping my music and school equal but separate has been easy because I set up the dates for going to Nashville to record and I have a great support system who do all the behind the scenes work.

Q: Send a message to your fans.

A: I would like to thank all of my fans for their support and hope that they will stick with me for my upcoming projects.
